John McGinn signs new Aston Villa contract running until 2028
Aston Villa captain John McGinn has committed his long-term future to the club by signing a new contract that will keep him at Villa Park until 2028.
The Scottish international, who joined Villa from Hibernian in 2018 for just £2.5 million, has become one of the Premier League’s standout midfielders and a driving force under Unai Emery. The 31-year-old has also been a consistent performer on the international stage, earning more than 80 caps for Scotland and sitting fifth on his country’s all-time goalscoring list.
